Today marks the 50th anniversary of the release of Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho".
I first watched this film probably when I was much too young, because it always stuck with me and it still scares me. I still feel my throat catch and stifle a scream when "Mrs. Bates" is revealed in the basement...
Tony Perkins is brilliant, though he always was. Just the volumes he speaks without saying a word, such as one of my favorite scenes, where Norman is sinking the car. The range of emotions and expression in his face.

Anyway, a brilliant piece of film making. I might watch it tonight. I just watched it a week or so ago but I could put it on again. ♥
