Halloween Month Movie A Night

Unfriended.
I happened to re watch this again. A ghost tale for this social media obsessed generation. A girl who is cyberbullied commits suicide. Her ghost comes back to wreak revenge upon those who wronged her. The movie all takes place on a computer screen, while six friends are on Skype. Facebook, YouTube, Spotify, and Google are all prominently featured as well. This gimmick actually really works well here.
It kept my interest. Brilliant? Maybe not, but it was quite effective. There are a couple of great jump scares. Not really horribly gory, but there are a couple of gruesome scenes. Moments of good tension. Stars Shelley Henning (Ouija), Jacob Wysocki (you saw him in Pitch Perfect) and Courtney Halverson (True Detective) among the six person cast. I hope there isn't a sequel, because this worked well enough as a one off.
