I doubt Johnny's gonna get the win esp. against all the "serious" actors/roles there but it's nice that he FINALLY got the nod for something considering the number of amazing roles he's played over the years that were ignored.

I can't even imagine what sort of 'thank you' speech he'd make if he did get it though. ;)

Oh I don't expect him to win, but it's just cool as hell seeing him on that list finally. :) Yay!

Yes, it is. I'm really happy for him too. It would be hella cool if he actually won but I don't believe most Oscar voters are that cool.

It is pretty amazing that Johnny got a nomination. It was a great flick and he was fantastic in the role. I noticed you just signed up with the classic rock community. That was the first music community I joined on LJ. It can get rather intense and rather nasty at times when folks start fighting over who was best in this or that and whether or not something was classic rock. As a somewhat older rocker, I always find that stuff humorous. I suspect you will too, since you've been around a little longer than most in that community. I always find it humorous how 18 year olds become self-acclaimed music experts based on knowing the major works of a relative handful of artists. I post there some, but just factual stuff. Thanks for the Oscar update! --JEFF

I find that sort of drama amusing as you do. I'm sure I'll enjoy the community. I read a bit and it seems nice and active. Thanks for the welcome there by the way! :)

And I am just so jazzed to see his name listed with those other nominees!! Yay Johnny!! :)

What intrigued me was that they are using orchestras, and the exact instrumentation that was used... sounds awesome. I love the Beatles, I love Orchestras, so it's win-win. Ha!

And YAY!! Johnny!! ::dances some more::

Awesome journal! I love the tie-dye and the colors. And, it goes without saying that you have great taste in music :)
