Writer's Block: Divided Self

It's funny, isn't it? The internet has made us such a "share everything, look at me" society. Nothing is taboo online, you can find a group of people who are into everything that you are if you look for them.

As far as behaving any differently? Not really a whole lot, no. I am careful about what I "put out there", and am a little shier IRL. There are places I go online where I can let my hair down and be a little silly, and it's a great release. And I can get a little bolder too than I'd be IRL. But I always believe, online or IRL that you get back what you give. The old adage to treat others as you yourself would want to be treated. I tend to show as much respect for people online, even though we are not face to face, as I would if we were standing in the same room together.
