Non traditional Christmas songs I love.

Yay it's up early. I have a full day tomorrow so that was a good thing. Here we go:

Top Five on Friday @ The Music Memoirs

Top 5 Non-Traditional Christmas Songs

1. Last Christmas - WHAM!

This one will forever be my Christmas jam. The season doesn't start officially until I hear it for the first time. ♥
Last Christmas I gave you my heart, but the very next day you gave it away...

2. Happy Christmas (War is Over) - John Lennon and Yoko Ono

And so this is Christmas, I hope you have fun. The near and the dear ones, the old and the young.

3. Christmas Wrapping - The Waitresses

Calendar picture, frozen landscape chilled this room for twenty-four days.
Evergreens, sparkling snow, get this winter over with!

4. Marshmallow World - Dean Martin

It's not Christmas without the Rat Pack, and Dino's the greatest!

Those are marshmallow clouds being friendly in the arms of the evergreen trees.
And the sun is red like a pumpkin head, it's shining so your nose won't freeze.

5. Christmas In Hollis - Run-D.M.C

It's Christmas time in Hollis Queens, mom's cooking chicken and collard greens.
Rice and stuffing, macaroni and cheese, and Santa put gifts under Christmas trees.
Decorate the house with lights at night, snow's on the ground, snow white so bright...

I friggin' love Last Christmas!!

Have you ever heard the Beatmas-XMAS! album by Rubber Band? Their Last Christmas cover is my favorite ever. Rivals the original for me.

Infact, it makes me want to hear it now...

The Dean Martin song's a nice surprise. Well done!
