Polly songs?

Just for a lark, I went searching for songs with my name, Polly, in them. I'm not talking about children's songs like "Polly Put The Kettle On" or "Polly Wolly Doodle" either, but my name in popular / rock music lyrics. The couple I did find had pretty horrible topics! Observe.

Hmm... so let's see... murdered in one, tortured and raped in the other. LOL!! Wow. I think the former is an old folk song, covered by many artists over the years. I've heard the Byrds version which is why I exampled that one here. The latter was based on a true news story about a 14 year old girl in Tacoma Washington who was kidnapped and subsequently raped and tortured by her abductor. She escapes by flirting with him, and he is then convinced to let her go.

I'm always on the lookout for more upbeat, happier songs with my namesake. I don't have the most common of names however, and lyrically, maybe others sound alot better. This has put me in quite a morose mood. Haha!

Oh yes!! I forgot about the Kinks too.

A few covers of the folk song "Pretty Polly" there. And a couple I haven't heard of. :)
