Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab
From Bewitching Brews
Recieved one free imp with each of my last two orders from the Lab.
Evocative of the sea's unplumbed mysteries. Gentle and lovely, but menacing and profound. Coconut, Florentine iris,
hazelnut and opalescent white musk.
In the vial: Predominantly coconut.
On wet: Still coconut but I'm getting more of the florals too... the iris definitely and hi there, musk!
On drydown: Coconut has calmed, and I'll agree with someone on the BPAL forum that said it's dried down to smell almost identical to Coty's Sand & Sable. Remember that one? I used to wear that alot back in the day. I think it was introduced in the early 80s. But Black Pearl is creamier and warmer and I like it lots better.
Overall: Good scent for everyday wear, or even romantic wear. Sexy and tropical. Lasted all day and then some on me still smelling lovely. A keeper.
