Yes, there. I admit it. Those of you who follow my obsession with Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab will know this, and I am known to have a couple of commercial obsessions going on at the same time.
I was all about Issey Miake's Eau D'Issey for a stretch. Then I got into the wonderfulness that is Vera Wang's Princess. I alternate my favorite commercial obsession with my favorite BPAL day to day so it's not the same continuously.
Right now, it's all about Marc Jacobs Daisy.

The bottle looks way too cute sitting on my vanity. I like the scent, too. So fresh and bright. The notes: Strawberry, Violet Leaves, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Gardenia, Violet Petals, Jasmine Petals, Musk, Vanilla, White Woods. It's blended to perfection, honestly. Gardenia and jasmine scare me as they amp on me so much, but it does not here. They're subtle here, really, just a whiff. It's the violet here that takes center stage with everything else intermingling.
I'm past the age group target for this one at 43, but even my mom likes it and she's in her 60s. It's indeed very "young" at first but fades down into something lovely and more sophisticated, at least on me. I've read reviews where people were *meh...* about the drydown, saying it lost its first applied bubbly allure. I like the drydown on me actually, but that's me. LOL!
Anyway there you have it, my latest commercial scent obsession. That's sure to change when this bottle is gone and my nose leads me to something else...
