iPhone post!
Aug. 20th, 2012 01:20 pmOkay I've had my iPhone 4s for a couple of months now. I'm loving it. I thought I'd share what apps I've got on here so far and find most useful.
Instagram - I'm on the bandwagon. I'm hearing a lot of people have been disappointed with it since Facebook took it over for some reason. I like it a lot, having fun with it, and enjoy seeing my friends on there and the fun stuff they post. If you're on there, look me up! I'm pweifenbach. Don't be afraid to follow and I'll follow you back.
Hipstamatic - Just because I thought it looked cool. Don't use it as much as I do Instagram. I like a couple of the filters for it, but like the interactive idea of Instagram better. I can post my Hipstamatic shots to Instagram, too, so that makes it better.
Foursquare - I don't know what brought me to it other than I had friends who use it. It's a good way of finding each other and reading reviews by the user base.
Facebook / Twitter / Tumblr / Livejournal - All my main social networking sites have apps right here, so I can access them any time I want. Love that.
Pandora / Spotify - It's a good way of listening to some tunes on the fly so that I don't have to download too much to my phone.
Evernote - I just got this one on a recommendation and to be honest haven't really used it or played with it yet.
Pulse News - News aggregator that I like, newspapers, mags, sites, etc all in one convenient place to read.
Around Me - I've used it a couple times, it does come in handy when I'm looking for someplace right off the cuff.
Red Laser - Point your device at a UPC code when you're in the store, and it gives you comparative pricing for that item at all stores nearby and even online, so you can find the best value.
SunTrust - My banking app. Check my current balance on the fly when I need to, and I can even make deposits using it.
Karma - My Reddit reading app.
Ghost Radar - Just a silly, for-fun app. I pointed this thing at a picture of John Lennon in my room and the thing said "imagine." I was like... WOAH. LOL! It's fun to play with.
ADT Matrix - To check our security cameras via my phone when I'm away and need to.
Epicurious / Shopping List - Great recipes, and Shopping List lets me list the needed ingredients so I have it at the store when I go.
Drync Wine - Wine reviews and info, as well as my own "wine cellar", a place to keep track of the bottles I've had and like as well as writing my own notes on them.
Draw Something! - I'm late to the party but I've been having fun with this game.
uView - Just this minute downloaded it because the Rolling Stones told me to on Facebook. LOL! Looks interesting and cool, we'll see what it does.
So what are your favorite apps? Any you recommend that I get?
