The Random 10 @ The Music Memoirs
1.Te Amo Corazon - Prince. The latest single. Very fluid, salsa-esque , Sade-like song. I don't see this becoming like an OMG MEGA! hit, but it's nice and moves along the same groove as The Question Of U from Graffiti Bridge does.
2. Shadowboxer - Fiona Apple. The song that got me into her in the first place. LOVE.
3. Unwell - matchbox 20.
(I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell.
I know right now you can't tell,
but stay awhile and maybe then you'll see
a different side of me)
4. Cold, Cold Heart - Norah Jones. An update on an old Hank Williams song. Norah's version is beautiful and sexy.
(The more I learn to care for you the more we drift apart
Why can't I free your doubtful mind and melt your cold cold heart)
5. My Cherie Amour - Stevie Wonder. Came on the radio in the car. Of course I couldn't change the station...
6. Come Together - The Beatles. Just that bass line!
7. Don't Give Up - Peter Gabriel (featuring Kate Bush). This song's affirming message got me through some tough patches.
8. Any Dream Will Do - Donny Osmond. Because I watched my "Joseph..." DVD Saturday night.
9. One Headlight - The Wallflowers. Rediscovered via a play on Launch. Forgot how much I liked this one!
10.Hashish - Hair (Original Broadway Cast). Maaaaaan. Is this like woah... THE SIXTIES or what?! DUuUuUuUdE!! ::trips out:: Short but ::preeettyyyy coooolors:: sweet. God I love this CD and it's been too long since I've played it.
"Easy To Be Hard" and "Good Morning Starshine" are my special favorites.

Drop a comment if you would like to hear any of these.
