Let's drink to the hard working people...

Busy day today. Not task wise, really, but just people. Lots and lots of people. Snowbirds. Is it May yet? ;)

At least six people on the staff are sick, my manager has been hacking up a lung and feeling like crap and still came into work. What's he doing? They have sick days too you know! Stay home. Rest. Drink plenty of liquids. Don't come to work and get your germs on the phones, and everywhere. EEK! If I get sick I'm gonna slug him!

I think part of the reason he came in is because our executive assistant manager has been home with her sick child the past couple of days.

Had the regional manger in town and so the management staff has been going bananas and being... well... a pain in the arse.
Thank goodness she's come and gone and it's over with for this time. She did visit our store, and we could have had a better visit but it wasn't all that horrible. She just got nit picky about stupid little stuff. But oh well.

Tomorrow's another day in the salt mines.

I watched "Vanilla Sky" again last night. I know that pretty much all the critics said it sucked when it was in theaters, but you know? Who the hell listens to *them* anyway? ;)

I was indifferent at first but it's really grown on me. It was my third viewing. I dig Cameron Crowe's direction.

I pick up new stuff every time I see it. It's very surreal, very strange, and okay... Tom Cruise. Looked very good in quite a few scenes there. Yeah. ::nods::

More Michael Jackson madness... as if you haven't already had enough!

Just got done watching a piece on Extra about an upcoming Vanity Fair piece on MJ.

I like Vanity Fair alot. They have integrity, are classy, and they have the best writers. We subscribe to it.

Anyway.... it appears that in this piece it is revealed that MJ has paid thousands to have cows sacrificed in Africa for a witch doctor there to perform voodoo curses on certain people on his "hit list". Two mentioned were David Geffen and Steven Spielberg.

David Geffen I can understand. But Michael... stay AWAY from Spielberg! ::stomps foot::
