Samhain - My first BPAL scent review.

My bottle of Samhain just arrived. So did Pink Moon and a little imp of Wolfsbane! Yipee!!

I decided to try Samhain right away, so here's the review. I am not too good at this, not good at notes and stuff but here's my impressions.

Truly the scent of autumn itself -- damp woods, fir needle, and black patchouli with the gentlest touches of warm pumpkin, clove, nutmeg, allspice, sweet red apple and mullein.

In The Bottle: Sharp. Very crisp. Woodsy. The apple is definitely there. And woah. Patchouli.

On Wet: Still quite sharp. Strong. I will be going lightly with this one. I like it. I can make out more autumnal notes now. Almost like I'm walking by a campfire or bonfire. Still smell the apple, with a hint of pumpkin trying to peek through there.

On Drydown: It's settling a bit now, and seems to have gone into one wonderfully spicy-autumnal scent. The patchouli has blended perfectly into the other notes. I'm a little disappointed I can't make out the fir though.

Overall: Yes. I really like this one. Perfect for fall.
