Oh I like this one! Here are five great voices, in no particular order...

1.
Frank Sinatra. Just *the* voice. Frank's delivery of every song is just perfection. Smooth and mellow as honey. He's the standard bearer.
Download: I've Got You Under My Skin
2.
Mariah Carey. I may not care much for some of her songs, but I have to admire her incredible range. Her first CD blew me away. Completely. I still hold that one up as her best.
Download: Vision Of Love
3.
Elvis Presley. What more even needs to be said here? He could sing anything, any type of music, be it out and out rock, country, gospel... and just completely own it. There's been nobody like him.
Download:Suspicious Minds
4.
Karen Carpenter. She absolutely had the clearest, most beautiful alto. A voice that touched the heart.
Download:Superstar
5.
Bono. His name means "beautiful voice". What else needs to be said? He completely commands an audience.
Download:Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of
Looking forward to peeking at everyone else's answers to this one! I could have picked more, too.
