Jan. 16th, 2006 09:14 amThe Random 10 @ The Music Memoirs
Random tunes from the weekend:
1. The Sweetest Thing - U2. Was playing upstairs at Bloomingdales when at the mall yesterday. Woohoo for random U2!
2. Desperado - The Eagles. On the radio on the way to said mall. haHA!
3. You Haven't Done Nothin' - Stevie Wonder. The funk, the soul, that is Stevie! Worship him now for he is da man!
4. She's A Rainbow - The Rolling Stones. "...she's a raaaaainbow..." Psychedelic grooviness!
5. Over The Rainbow - Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. Honolulu native, he was much beloved in Hawaii. If you're a fan of the movie "50 First Dates" like me, this song appears in it, and it's where I discovered him. Sweet, beautiful voice.
6. Kiss From A Rose - Seal. Just gorgeousness. I love, love, love this one!
7. Mad World - Gary Jules. Because I slipped my Donnie Darko DVD in last night. I highly recommend getting the Original Motion Picture Score CD as well if you're a Darko fan. I love it!
8. Enjoy Yourself - Michael Jackson (The Jacksons). Wooo! Dance, you know you wanna!
9. Rain Fall Down - The Rolling Stones. Oh hell yes, they still got it!!
10. Give Booze A Chance - The Bonzo Dog Band - No, not really playing, but my friend and I were singing it Saturday night. Yes I know, we're crazy! ::wink::
