Top Five on Friday @ The Music Memoirs

Top 5 "Night" songs or albums (take your pick or do both) Again, interpret this anyway you see fit. The albums and songs don't necessarily have to have the word "night" in the title.

1. Good Night - The Beatles

I ♥ this one. Awwwww Ringo!

(Now it's time to say good night,
good night sleep tight.
Now the sun turns out his light,
good night sleep tight.
Dream sweet dreams for me,
Dream sweet dreams for you ...)

2. Sleep To Dream - Fiona Apple

(Got my feet on the ground and I don’t go to sleep to dream.
You got this head in the clouds and you’re not at all what you seem.
This mind, this body, and this voice cannot be stifled by your deviant ways.
So don’t forget what I told you, don’t come around, I got my own hell to raise.)

3. #9 Dream - John Lennon

(Dream, dream away
Magic in the air, was magic in the air?
I believe, yes I believe...
More I cannot say, what more can I say?)

4. Night And Day - Frank Sinatra as well as others

(Night and day, you are the one.
Only you beneath the moon or under the sun.
Whether near to me, or far,
it’s no matter darling where you are
I think of you)

5. Sleepwalker - An instrumental I just love by Johnny and Santo.

I just have to say I've really been enjoying "I Love Toys" on VH1 all week. :) Such fun memories!

Candyland! Chutes and Ladders! The very first games I ever owned. I think they're a rite of childhood... don't know anyone who didn't own these games.

Simon! ♥

Spirograph! ♥ "I got a SPIROGRAPH!" *chuckles*

Gilbert Gottfried's Erector Set jokes!!! Bwahahahahaha!!!

OMG the loaf of french bread appearing out of the "Bread Basket" hole on the Operation game!! asfkgjhgfgh!! Bwahahahahaha!

Oh yes, the requisite Barbies. I had so many . I owned the plane, and the camper, and a plethora of clothes. I used to torture Ken however. Didn't like Ken. Bwahahaha! I have none of my original Barbies and stuff now... we gave them away when we moved to Florida in 1985. Gotta wonder what some of that stuff would be worth, however probably not much since it was played with.

OMG Baby Alive! I had one. Yes she really did poop. I remember the mess and my mom saying WHY did I give her that doll?! LOL

My brother had the Evel Knievel doll... wound him up and his motorcycle would jump off the ramp. Stretch Armstrong too. We stretched him so much he got thin and the stuff inside oozed out. It was a clear gel type substance.

Just so much fun. Some of the commentary is cracking my stuff UP. Particularly Michael Ian Black. Such love for that man. Bwahaha!! Go here and watch him go OFF! Too great. Watch the uncensored segment too.
