It's the weekend, finally. Tomorrow is Easter, and I'm looking forward to church with the family and a nice big dinner as we do every year... ham, potato salad, beans, and other goodies. I bought a huge bag of M&Ms today because I had such a chocolate craving. I'd been pretty good about it, too but I had to give in this time.
Today was busy. B U S Y. So. Many. People. GUH. I guess it's the last weekend before the spring breakers go back to classes, and our snowbirds are preparing to head for points north. Plus holiday weekend, and we had a warehouse delivery today so yeah. At least it makes for a fast day.
Music recommendation. Run, don't walk, and pick up Prince's newest, 3121. OMG. I enjoyed Musicology, but I've not been this excited about a Prince release since "Sign 'O' The Times"! He's brilliant. Simply brilliant. Vibrant, upbeat, sexy, playful Prince is BACK!! My favorite tracks are:
Incense and Candles - Just love this one, really.
Lolita - Very much along the same groove as "Soft and Wet".
Te Amo Corazon - Just a salsa-esque, sexy groove. Love, love, love.
Beautiful, Loved & Blessed - Sung with the gorgeous Tamar... their voices blend into something wonderfully spiritual.
Black Sweat - Prince just pops here... I dare you not to move yo thang.
But it's all wonderful. ♥ If you want samples of any of it, leave a comment I'll be happy to share the Prince love.
Gonna go see what I can get into around here.
