Top Five on Friday @ The Music Memoirs

Top 5 songs that creep you out/Any songs, that for whatever reason other than purely being bad music, make the hair on your neck rise?

I did a couple of entries of these types of songs last year and that covered quite a few. But I think I can easily come up with five more. *evil grin* You can read those posts here and here.

1. Lullaby - The Cure.

2. Brain Damage - Pink Floyd.

3. Night on Bald Mountain - Mussorgsky.
I have to add comment to this one. This is totally because of seeing Disney's "Fantasia" as a child and thinking that the creepiest / scariest bit of the whole thing.

4. Country Death Song - The Violent Femmes

5. And another one from my childhood: Have You Seen The Ghost of John?
"Have you seen the ghost of John? Long white bones and the rest all gone?"

And a little bonus as it just popped into my head. I've heard this song countless times at work the past few weeks on the PA system, and it never fails to give me the willies. "Into The Night" by Benny Mardones. Pedophile / predator anyone? Hi.

"She's just sixteen years old, leave her alone, they say. Separated by fools who don't know what love is yet. But I want you to know: If I could fly, I'd pick you up,I'd take you into the night and show you a love like you've never seen, ever seen."
