Word association time again.

More word association, in the form of spring and Easter. That should scare you, but since I'm loopy on sinus meds, it shouldn't scare you too much!
Remember; post the first song/album/band/artist that comes to mind when you see the following 10 words:
God: One Of Us - Joan Osborne
"What if God was one of us?
Just a stranger on a bus,
tryin' to make his way home...
Just trying to make his way home
Like a holy rolling stone
Back up to heaven all alone
Just trying to make his way home
Nobody calling on the phone
'cept for the Pope maybe in Rome."
Bunny: White Rabbit - Jefferson Airplane
"And if you go chasing rabbits
and you know you're going to fall
Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar
has given you the call.
Recall Alice,
when she was just small."
Flower: Dead Flowers - The Rolling Stones
"And you can send me dead flowers every morning,
send me dead flowers by the mail.
Send me dead flowers to my wedding,
and I wont forget to put roses on your grave."
Grass: Grazing In The Grass - Hugh Masakela
This one always reminds me of springtime. Don't know why. Maybe the cowbell? LOL!!
Musical: Any Broadway soundtrack could be inserted here, really. My favorites are West Side Story and Guys & Dolls.
Gospel: (There'll Be) Peace In The Valley (For Me) - Elvis Presley
My mom has a 45 rpm of Elvis' recording of this. It's gorgeous and powerful.
New: New Beginning - Tracy Chapman.
"You see we need to change it now, this world with too few happy endings.
We can resolve to start all over make a new beginning. Start all over."
Color: Colour My World - Chicago.
I love this one. If Frank Sinatra thought it the most beautiful song ever, so do I. :) Back in the early 70s? This was THE prom song.
Dress: Dress You Up - Madonna.
The first song that came to mind, which is the point of this association. The second song for some reason, immediately after that, was "Leave Me Alone (Ruby Red Dress)" by Helen Reddy. I have no idea why since I hadn't thought of that song in years. Anyway, the Madonna song used to be my jam back when it was popular. I could totally be that geeky 80s pop girl. LOL!
Sunday: Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down - Johnny Cash.
Kris Kristofferson wrote it, and Cash gave it life.
