Writer's Block: Be Prepared

I live in southern Florida. It's essential to have a hurricane plan. I'm always in stock on everything I need and ready to go. Can't tell you how handy it was to have prepared, when you are without power for sometimes up to a week after a storm.
As for the Zombie Apocalypse. Hopefully I encounter nothing but slow, cumbersome zombies 'cause it's easier to outrun 'em.
I certainly would not want to be caught in a mall during a Zombie onslaught. Dawn of the Dead, anyone? HALE, NAW. If I were caught off guard, I would head for a supermarket. You can cover all exits, and there's plenty of food.
Or, I will probably be found someplace with height. A rooftop maybe anything that is UP ^ because zombies can't climb. There I could have my trusty shotgun and ammo and pick them off one by one sniper style. However a blade is ALWAYS good to have, they don't need reloading, after all, and you can just... yeah... OFF WITH ITS HEAD! Fire, too. Fire to dispose of 'em once you've taken 'em down.
All the information on what and what not to do can be found in a myriad of zombie movies. Watch. Learn.
