hippie_chick: (Beatles / Let It Be?)

Just got back from Coral Springs and seeing Get Back! The Cast of Beatlemania. These guys never disappoint. They're here every year around this time and the place was rockin'... they pretty much sold it out. So good. Particularly "George", he has him down pat. Even "Ringo" had the little head shakes and mannerisms down, so cute. :) "John" is particularly good during the early "mop top era" stuff. He does a mean "Ballad of John and Yoko" though.

If you want to check out a few clips, they're a couple years old, but they're on You Tube, they have their own channel. Numbers change here and there too, they didn't do "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "When I'm 64" or "Norwegian Wood" for instance. We did get "Birthday" again... they like to ask the audience if anyone's having a birthday and dedicate it to them. They rock it!

Before the show we went over to the Blue Anchor Pub for some British fare. I had some delish bangers and mash. Washed it down with a Newcastle and we were good to go.

I've see a few Beatle tribute bands in my time, but these guys and Rain I think are my favorites. If you get a chance to, and you're a Beatlemaniac, go see 'em! It's an enjoyable evening.
