So apparently, Twinkies are coming back this summer. Though I've also heard as late as fall.
According to Forbes, Hostess snack cakes was purchased for 410 million by Dean Metropoulos / Apollo Management. Metropoulos also owns Chef Boyardee, PAM cooking spray, Pabst Blue Ribbon beer and Bumble Bee. Wonder Bread is not lost, either, Flowers Foods has already announced its purchase of Hostess's bread brands.
So don't you fret, fans of the sugar laden snack cakes and Wonder Bread, your savior has come.
