Oh man! Maurice Gibb (of the Bee Gees, good friend of Ringo Starr as well) has been hospitalized... had abdominal surgery. The news is saying it was a blocked intestine. He was admitted on Thursday with severe pains. Is in stable but critical condition.

I'm mad about the Bee Gees, living in South Florida, they mean alot to us here, particularly in Miami... have done lots of charitable work and been good for the community. Not to mention I've met them and sweeter guys you couldn't hope to meet. I hope that everything will be okay for Maurice.

I don't see mention of any of this on the web at the moment... it just popped up on the Miami news.

Another article... the reports are starting to come in now. Apparently he'd suffered a heart attack during surgery, too.

Oh no. I hope he's okay. I always thought he was pretty cool even if Lulu isn't too fond of him these days.
