Date: 2003-06-04 01:05 pm (UTC)I could stand it if he did "Octopus" in place of Yellow Submarine"... though he couldn't NOT do Yellow Sub, it's his "signature" song.
But you know? He suprised me last year by doing "Back Off Boogaloo". We were talking at dinner before the show about Ringo songs, and I mentioned how I loved "Back Off Boogaloo" and wanted him to sing that one. My friend Karen said "he never does that one".
And what do you know... that song started and I went nuts. Karen leaned over and whispered to me "he did it for YOU! I can't believe it!" and we laughed.
