Ahahahahaha..... Wipeout !
Jun. 6th, 2003 04:27 pmMy executive assistant manager has hooked up a boombox and has surf music pounding away in the summer aisle. Cool idea, but there is also the PA which plays music... regular "Lite FM" fare as normal, and he's got *another* boom box over in cosmetics with the suntan/beachwear display blasting Beach Boys, so I'm all like make it stooooooop! ::laughs::
::hears "Misirlou" in her head now::
I like surf music, don't get me wrong. It's a blast to be down on the beach and have Beach Boys, or Jan and Dean or the Surfaris playing. Songs like "Wipeout", "Mr. Moto", "Surfin' Safari" and all that, but one *can* ...err...wipe out...overload... on surf music! I am living proof. ::smiles::
Hey! It's Friday! Woo!
Here's the Friday Five for this week:
1. How many times have you truly been in love?
I'm not sure I really truly have been yet. 37 years old... how sad is that? I would love to be in love though.
2. What was/is so great about the person you love(d) the most?
Well when it was cool with my ex, I loved that he was quite the gentleman. Held the door, pulled out my chair for me at restaurants, gave me flowers, the whole bit. I like to be romanced.
3. What qualities should a significant other have?
See above.
4. Have you ever broken someone's heart?
No.
5. If there was one thing you could teach people about love, what would it be?
I totally agree with the answer
moongarden1971 gave. And, I quote Bonnie Raitt:
"'Cause I can't make you love me if you don't. You can't make your heart feel something it won't..."
