Jun. 8th, 2003 10:47 amWhile I'm thinking about what I might want to rent later today... I thought I'd write about movies I've seen recently either at the theater, on PayPerView or rented...
The Matrix Reloaded of course... saw it twice. Yes, at the theater... because this movie is best on a big screen with all the great sound....AWESOME.
Adaptation liked it alot better than I had any idea I would. Nic Cage was super, and Meryl Streep... well what can I say? She rocks so totally. I saw this one on PPV.
Sweet Home Alabama Rented this one. Reese is so adorable. I liked the movie well enough... but I'd love to see her in something darker for a change, more dramatic. Remember the movie Freeway? Really strange and dark and good. I want her to do something like that again.
Just Married Okay... I love That 70s Show and I went for this on Ashton Kutcher alone. It was cute but I'm glad I rented, don't think this was much of a "see it at the theater" type film... or at least not one that *I* would absolutely have to run out and see at the theater.
8 Mile with my friend, who rented this and appreciates Eminem ::cough::. I am not much of a fan or much of a fan of rap music, but there were parts here that were very good. I will admit that Eminem impressed me here. Yeah. Go figure! Ha! Alot of it seemed to smack of Purple Rain though...
I guess that's it of the newer stuff. Any recommendations before I head out to pick something up today?
