Johnny Cash / John Ritter R.I.P.
Sep. 12th, 2003 04:00 pmSadly, today, both Johnny Cash and John Ritter passed away. Johnny Cash was, really, a legendary figure. He was right there along with the likes of Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis, at the birth of rock and roll. He spanned country, rock and folk during his career. He'll be very much missed. Since he had had so many health problems and I knew he wasn't doing too well the news didn't come as quite a shock to me as did the news of John Ritter's death.
I have always loved John Ritter. He first came to my attention of course on Three's Company back in the 70s, and I followed him right on through 8 Simple Rules.... It saddens me that the heart defect that ended his life wasn't caught a long time ago. He was funny, compassionate and caring. Too young. Too sad.
::sigh:: What a year it's been.

Just too sad.
