It's the weekend!
Oct. 4th, 2003 09:45 amLast night's Halloween month movie-a-night was The Lost Boys. Kiefer Sutherland is one damn sexy vampire, lemme tell ya. This movie rocks.

Thursday it was Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. The only thing is... what made the birds go all evil like that? Alien virus from space? Pissed at humans in general? What? Good movie, typical awesome Hitchcock direction.
Don't know what we'll choose for tonight yet.
The Weekly Wrapup This week: Anger Management.
1. How easily do you get angry? Has this changed over time? If so, how?
It takes a bit to make me angry. I used to anger much more easily than I do now. As it is, now, it has to be pretty bad for you to incur my wrath.
2. How do you express your anger?
Basically just yell. I'll rant a bit.
3. What behaviors, things, people, etc. trigger your Angry Button? Why?
Like I said, it takes ALOT to make me angry. Annoyances include bad driving, inconsideration and general stupidity, stuff like that. To make me ANGRY just hurt someone I really care about... my family and friends. Mess with them, you mess with me, dude.
4. Has your anger ever backfired on you and resulted in more trouble for you than for the target of your anger? If so, how?
No, not really.
5. What do you do to manage your anger? How effective are these strategies?
I don't know that I have a specific strategy. I just don't let too much get to me you know? I try to look at different perspectives of a situation and try to gain an understanding of it.
Edit (6:26 pm):
Tonight's movie has been decided. Night Of The Living Dead. Off I go... zombies await.

Date: 2003-10-04 07:42 am (UTC)As far as the Birds goes, my mom's theory was that the birds were upset by the lovebirds being kept in the cage. (Remember when they were driving around the corners, and the lovebirds would lean one way and then the other? ha ha, that always cracked me up.) Also, there was some kind of jealousy thing where they didn't want some "city slicker" woman coming to change their little town.
Though I couldn't understand why, if they hated just the woman, that they attacked everyone else too.
A neighbor boy and I used to be GLUED to the TV whenever they showed the Birds... I'd peek through my fingers at the part where they found the dead guy with his eyes pecked out. LOL.
