Carved the jack-o-lantern last night.







The Thursday Three :

1. What's the scariest story youve ever heard?

The hook man. You know... that oh so familiar urban legend? Everybody has a version of it for their area. In Michigan City, Indiana, growing up, ours was in Trail Creek, this winding and very scary (at night) road...

2. What's the scariest movie youve ever seen?

A Nightmare On Elm Street ... the very first time I ever saw it. Stayed with me, and I didn't sleep well for weeks afterward. SO scary! The other one that ties with this is The Exorcist .

3. What's the scariest thing thats ever happened to you or in your presence?

Hmm... I guess playing the old slumber party standard, the Ouija board. Those creep me out. I swear there was one instance where we heard knocking on the walls. Really! And felt a chilly blast of air...

Anyway, kiddos... have a happy and safe Halloween tomorrow. I'll be safe at home, watching scary movies and eating popcorn.

I so agree with you on the scary movie... A Nightmare On Elm Street kept me up for weeks when I saw it the first time.. when I was little... Now I watch it and laugh, but really, Freddy still scares the SHIT outta me.

I was a wreck after seeing "Fargo." The individual killings weren't bad, but it all just built up. By the time I got to "is that your friend in the woodchipper?" I was shaking. I wish I had been with that guy I went with a while longer so I could have an excuse to have him stay the night with me. ;) Could have used someone to cuddle with afterwards.
