Thanksgiving was lovely. Mom and I went over to my aunt Jan's since dad had to work. Mom and me, Jan, Jim, Laura, Sally, Tony. And the girls were down from Gainesville so there were a few of us. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, fresh peas, homemade gravy, rolls, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, coffee. Yum!

Friday was busy. Not as busy as I'd anticipated but nice and steady. We had warehouse come in so it was a good thing that a couple of people showed up who weren't scheduled. So we were fine and got it all done.

Mom and dad are going to Key West again for a couple of days next week. They have friends visiting who have never been there so they are taking them. I'll have the place to myself that weekend. Woot! Hee!

Anyway, really not that much going on that is monumentally fascinating. I have laundry in that I should check on in a bit. But before I do that I'll leave you with some meme-age.

Zoinked this list from [livejournal.com profile] soulman82. I have bolded the albums I own. This may mean I have the vinyl still, or own it on CD or both. There are definitely CDs I need to get.

Hmm... this is reminding me that I don't listen to enough music anymore. Really listen. Other than when I'm online and listen on MusicMatch or RealOne Rhapsody. I have to start putting on some of my good stuff. And looking at this I really do own alot of music!

Once again I have to question some of Rolling Stone's choices, but I digress. But one thing though why is this list rife with greatest hits collections? Do those *really* count? I mean, they're a good introduction to an artist or band you may want to try, but for a list like this I would have eliminated greatest hits collections.

Unconscious Mutterings :

  1. Scrooge:: humbug
  2. Ribbon:: silk
  3. Physical:: attraction
  4. Income:: pay
  5. Dream:: sleep
  6. Notebook:: paper
  7. Disney:: Mickey
  8. Combo:: mix
  9. Booty:: hinie
  10. Skin:: lotion

hippies
The hippie--you were probably too drugged to
remember most of the 60s. Once marijuana and
LSD because popular, you followed the stigma of

Who were you in the 1960s?
brought to you by Quizilla

Looks like they left off the last part of that sentence. But yeah. Hippie, me. :) :)
