The Top Five On Friday @ The Music Memoirs
The falling leaves drift by the window
The autumn leaves of red and gold...
Top Five Fall songs (interpret as you like)
I am interpreting this as songs that remind me of autumn.
1. Moondance - Van Morrison (always reminds me of autumn)
2. Spooky - Classics IV
3. Autumn Leaves - A standard, written by Johnny Mercer. I love it as a piano piece, or sung, by either Nat King Cole or Frank Sinatra particularly.
4. Autumn in New York - Another one covered by greats like Billie Holiday and again Frank Sinatra among others. I love Billie Holiday's version.
5. And a classical piece... Op. 37 November:Troika - Composed by Pyotr Il'yich Tchaikovsky
Hooray for Autumn!! I love this season.
