Random 10 @ The Music Memoirs

Time for the weekend musical recap. Just some of what I listened to over this weekend. Most of this stuff is on my mp3 playlist and / or on my iPod.

1. Fell On Black Days - Soundgarden
I am in love with the CD "Superunknown"!

2. Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk - Rufus Wainwright
I've been getting into his stuff more and more.

3. Complainte de la Butte - Rufus Wainwright
Another Rufus, this one from the Moulin Rouge! soundtrack.

4. My Doorbell - The White Stripes
Just because it's excellent.

5. Passionate Raindrops - Stevie Wonder
Hooray for a new Stevie CD!!!

6. In Bloom - Nirvana
From the "Nevermind" CD. Awesome.

7. Andante From Piano Concerto No. 21 In C Major "Elvira Madigan" - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
I love to chill out to Mozart. This is a favorite piece of mine.

8. Radio Free Europe - R.E.M
"Murmur" and "Out of Time" are the two R.E.M. CDs I can't get enough of.

9. The Battle of Evermore - Led Zeppelin
Yeah, I had to get the Led out!

10. Mother Nature's Son - The Beatles
This was an alternate version, sounded alot like the final album version but with subtle differences.

Listened to a bunch of different outtakes and alternate takes of Beatles stuff on the iPod yesterday while hanging out, so for my random picture I give you:

Love Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk. It's one of the only Rufus songs I adore. That and his cover of Across The Universe.
