Random 10 @ The Music Memoirs
Christmas Shopping / Tree Decorating Edition!
1. My Grown Up Christmas List - Donny Osmond. I listened to Christmas At Home while decorating the tree. It's a holiday CD I highly recommend. Yes, go get it, like NOW!
2. White Christmas - Bing Crosby. We have Music Choice as part of our Digital Cable package and had Sounds of the Season playing quite a bit.
3. Little Drummer Boy - Harry Simeone Chorale. One of my favorites!!
4. Last Christmas - WHAM. It's not Christmas until I hear George Michael singing "Last Christmas I gave you my heart, but the very next day you gave it away..."
5. Happy Christmas (War Is Over) - John Lennon. War is over, if you want it.
6. Do You Hear What I Hear? - Bing Crosby. Just beautiful.
7. Do They Know It's Christmas? - Band Aid. The cream of the 80s crop!
8. Mary's Boy Child - Harry Belafonte. He's got a gorgeous voice!
9. Christmas In Hollis - Run DMC. I love it! Sing with me now, homies!
It's Christmas time in Hollis Queens
Mom's cooking chicken and collard greens
Rice and stuffing, macaroni and cheese
And Santa put gifts under Christmas trees
Decorate the house with lights at night
Snow's on the ground, snow white so bright
In the fireplace is the yule log
Beneath the mistletoe as we drink egg nog
The rhymes you hear are the rhymes of Darryl's
But each and every year we bust Christmas carols
10. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - Judy Garland. I've always loved this one!
Random picture:

That's me, made when I was in the 4th grade. That's my school picture from that year.

Ornament detail. That's my favorite Disney ornament! And I ♥ the cupcake!

Holiday greetings from sunny South Florida!

This is one my brother made in 3rd grade I think.

Ta da! The finished product. I'll post better ones and others too when I get the rest of the place decorated.
Today is the last of four days off (mini vacation, yay) and tomorrow it's back to the salt mines! Woo!
Edit:
Sirius Channel 2 (normally StarLite) is all Christmas all the time until Dec 26. It's quite nice!
