I'm a little bit waxwork....

Okay. This was brought to my attention on a forum I frequent. Wax figures of Donny and Marie from The Movieland Wax Museum. I remember when they talked about having these done on the talk show. I'd never seen the finished product, just "in progress".

Anyway...







Heck, if they didn't have Marie holding her doll Adora Belle, I would have thought they'd stuck Donny next to Mary Tyler Moore! And the Donny figure... um... wassup, forehead? OMG. Scary. Just scary. ::chuckles::

Wax figures just creep me out... They always look just a little off, and I always think they may come to life and try to kill me. Well, maybe not to that extreme, but I still find them to be creepy.

I suppose I'd have to actually see them in person. Perhaps they just didn't photograph well. I can see the elements, yes. Just the tiniest bit off though to me and I don't know what it is...

They're Mormon right? It looks like she had collagen injections in her lips/a face lift. I thought Mormons weren't allowed to do anything like that to their bodies....

Now I know why I've never gone to the Hollywood Wax museum. Creepy.

I don't know that much about Mormons except for what I've gotten from my friend Amy. She said that women can only have a set of regular ear piercings and no tatts or anything like that. Plus I figured if you couldn't have any caffiene, you probably weren't allowed to inject botchalism into your forehead.
