It's almost a new year, so time to make some resolutions!

Top Five On Friday @ The Music Memoirs

Top 5 Musical Resolutions:

1. More live shows. I only went to Elton John this past year. That just won't do. I love the concert experience, seeing my favorites live, however man those ticket prices! But I'll try and do more than one in 2006. Aerosmith is in January provided I can find two seats that aren't behind the stage and have poor view. :(

2. Organize my CD collection. And I still own like a gazillion cassette tapes from back in the day when I managed the record store and we got promo cassettes and CDs for free. I will have to list everything and post them and see if anyone wants anything once I decide what I'm not keeping.

3. Discover more new artists over the course of the coming year. Broaden my already eclectic horizons a bit more.

4. Streamline and organize my iPod and music files. Make more playlists, and get rid of those files that just take up un needed space on my hard drive.

5. I think it might be fun to audition for a musical locally. There are small theaters here, I should check out the auditions section of the weekend papers and see what's going on. I love singing and performing!

I'm going to start going through my mp3s and whatnot this weekend to clean up the PC. Scary thing is that last night I ripped three cds to my hard drive.

Organizing cds is difficult...I used to have them all nicely organized..but now I have so many cds(started buying them when I was 12 and i'm not 20!!) that I have 3 cd racks..Anyway,For me..I have a zillion mix cds or burned cds that it's hard to keep everything straight...

but I wouldn't mind seeing the list once you organize,and if I can steal any I just may;)

I heart you polly and I hope you are doing well and we really should talk more outside of lj--what do you think about that?!(ps:if that wasn't a run on sentence I don't know what is!)

I download my mp3's onto DVD's you can store so many on one DVD

I also download whole albums onto DVDs too, you can get about 20 cds on one DVD when you put them in mp3 form
