Date: 2006-04-24 03:36 pm (UTC)However, all the scuttlebutt on Lestat has been negative, there were so many problems going in and I don't think ticket sales are very good. Like I said, normally if a show is hot, they don't need to advertise at all (The Producers didn't run a single ad, even in the papers for the first year) and advertising on tv means that they need to really push it. I think it's going to wind up like the Jim Steinman Vampire musical and die a quick death.
Like I said, it's a shame. A musical about Lestat is a great idea. I don't know what the trouble is, just that it's a mess.
