Halloween is up!! *hyperventilates*
OMG!
DRACULA SCENTS!!!!!
ARKHAM SCENTS!!!!!!!
HALLOWEENIE!!!!!!!
It's a great update. *runs around the room squeeing*
Okay, decisions must be made.
First order:
Pumpkin Queen is SO mine. The Glorious Grand Dame of the Pumpkin Patch! Regal Egyptian Amber, red ginger, orange peel, mandarin, cardamom, fig leaf and warm pumpkin. Ordered.
Miskatonic University?! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! My lonely imp of this is juuuust about gone, so this is indeed wonderful. WONDERFUL. I weep that Shub Niggurath isn't in there but oh well. MISK U!!!! It smells so darned good on me too! The scent of Irish coffee, dusty tomes and polished oakwood halls. Ordered.
Brides of Dracula. Unquenchable desire, seething lust, malevolent sexuality, and voracious hunger lurking beneath a shimmering veil of unearthly beauty: gleaming skin musk, honey and white amber, plum blossom, osmanthus, sandalwood, calla lily, and a light, sensual blend of Eastern spices. Love the notes!! Ordered.
Count Dracula looks awesome. The essence of nobility, brutality and true Will made flesh and propelled through the eons by an ever-burning hatred: black patchouli, neroli, tonka, cinnamon, bitter clove, leather, black musk, coffin wood and fiery ginger. Yes. I'll take it. Ordered.
Later:
And OMG the Pumpkin Patch is back!!! I will for sure. But in a bit. Not with this first order. I got imps of it all last year and they are all wonderful. I love Beth's pumpkin blends so much!
Al Azif looks good. Incense!!!! Hmmm....
Going back to Carnival Diabolique, I'm getting decants of a few of this first Act. Then I'll decide which of those I want bottles of. I don't know yet. I didn't get decants of all of it, just those that appealed to me the most by the descriptions and notes.
I'm so glad I'm working again!!! :)

Date: 2006-08-29 03:28 pm (UTC)If I hadn't just spent $125 on TAL oils (to get me through my surgery!), I would have splurged more. But they'll be around for a while yet so...yay!

Date: 2006-08-29 07:41 pm (UTC)I still have half a bottle of Samhain 2004 and 2005 each, so I'm set for Samhain. I do want Samhainophobia though. That looks awesome.
Much of the Order of the Dragon stuff looks good but some to floral for me. But the Bloody Sword? Amazing. Steel? Fire? OMG!!! I at least have to sniff / try an imp of that. Carfax Abbey also looks incensey - woody good. Renfield looks a lot like Dracul which I love, minus a note or two. And I love it for the fact that the maniacal laugh from the Renfield in Bela Lugosi's "Dracula" pops into mind immediately. HehHEheHEheHE.... LOL!!! Eating flies... OMG!
Did you get any of the Black Moons? I am leaning heavily toward's Brian's blend, Schwarzer Mond. Those I assume stay up with the other LEs that long too?

Date: 2006-08-29 08:00 pm (UTC)I just want to try the Samhain 2006 cos I love 2004, wasn't as enamoured with 2005 but I have to check and see what it's like now that it's been aged (I am going to start wearing all my autumn scents after Labour Day lmao). I only have a few imps of S2004 but...yummy.
I've waffled about Samhainophobia. I'm not sure I'd like it. Ditto the geographical scents from Dracula -- I tend to prefer florals and odd scents like opium. I almost got Jonathan Harker and the other one (the cowboy -- too tired to remember his name) but not right now. I love the character of Renfield but the notes didn't excite me.
I will probably wind up with a bottle of Pumpkin Queen and Punkie Night though.
I ordered the Black Moon set. Another reason why I can't go nuts with Halloween yet. I love dark Goddesses and that sort of thing so I can't wait for both of them!
