SHUB-NIGGURATH IS BACK!!!
Iä! Shub-Niggurath! The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young, the All-Mother and wife of the Not-to-Be-Named-One.
The lust incense of a corrupted Astarte. A blend of ritual herbs and dark resins, shot through with three gingers and aphrodisiacal spices.
*squees all over the place!!!!*
Just in time for me to have finished up the imp I'd been nursing for the better part of a year. Oh yes. *dances the happy dance*
Joining the awesome Shub-ness will be Lycaon.
A monstrous, brutal, and bloodthirsty blend: blackened myrrh, crushed olive leaf, black musk, spikenard, frankincense, cypress wood, opoponax, white ginger, and patchouli.
Gingery goodness for all!
Beth's also added a new exhibit to The Salon. They all look just as amazing as the first group. The ones that catch my eye right off the bat are:
Cupid Complaining To Venus
Apple blossom, fig, white peach, honey absolute, red sandalwood, and wild thyme.
Can you say SOLD? Just on that group of notes alone!
Garden Path With Chickens
Damp grass, ivy leaves, morning glory, daisy, rose geranium, heliotrope, white gardenia, climbing roses, peppery nasturtium, phlox, begonia, verbena and sun-warmed herbs.
Just the wonderful mix of notes here, as well. I can just smell them reading the description! Amazing. Just amazing.
The Great He-Goat
Haitian vetiver, Egyptian amber, carnation, black musk, pomegranate, patchouli, and smoked ginger.
Again. The notes! More ginger!! Amber!! Black musk!! Pomegranate!!
Okay, I'm going to probably be going through my stash and doing my first ever sale since starting BPAL. I'll be working on that this coming week. Must let go of those that don't really do it for me and making room for the new.
I just kept this order at the two bottles this time. I still have to order more Stardust before it goes away. I have a sticky note here to remind me where I see it every time I'm at the computer. Right now it will be another week or so because I have a bunch more holiday shopping to do, baking supplies to get, and a couple of larger bills will be coming due in that time.
Glad that the stuff I really really am squeeing over right now is in GC and hence won't be going away all that soon. But Shub. I had to get Shub. Right away. LOL!
Got my bottles of Glitter and Purple Phoenix in the mail yesterday. Purple Phoenix is... purple. That's the only way to describe it. It's an interesting blend on me. At first very sweet and grape-y but dried down to a mixture of purple loveliness.
Glitter is amazing. Bubbly and sweet. ♥
Carnavale Diabolique's new Act (The Freak Show) unveils in a week or so. OMG. Yes, definitely sale time. Unloved bottles have to go.
Working 2-10 today. Not too pleased with that, would have rather opened, as we are getting the Christmas tree today. He didn't have the schedule all the way done yet when I left yesterday, so I'm hoping I'm off tomorrow anyway, so I can decorate it.
