Bing Crosby meets David Bowie. "Little Drummer Boy / Peace On Earth" . From Bing's last Christmas special, in 1977. He died a month later. So beautiful they sound together!
And some more Christmasy nuggets for you to enjoy and feel that warm and cozy Christmas spirit...
The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting) by Nat "King"Cole. It's just not Christmas without this.
White Christmas by Bing Crosby. Bing again. Another song Christmas just isn't complete without. From the film "Holiday Inn".
Last Christmas by WHAM!. Hush up, you. I love George. ;) My Christmas officially STARTS the first time I hear this song.
Winter Wonderland by Donny and Marie Osmond. Okay, yeah, a little offputting that a brother and sister are singing this but that aside, they always sounded so great together!!
Santa Baby by Eartha Kitt. Her version of this song is my favorite. Other than that of Marilyn Monroe.
Do They Know It's Christmas? by Band Aid. George Michael! Phil Collins! Boy George! Simon LeBon (and the rest of Duran Duran)! Sting! BONO!!!!!! So many more. OMG. "Feed the woooooorld. Let them know it's Christmas time..."
All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey. I love this one! She be channeling a little Ronnie Spector here.
Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) by U2. BONO!!!!!1111one *dies*
Wonderful Christmastime by Paul McCartney. Simply having a wonderful Christmas time...
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas by Judy Garland. Such a voice. And more of us should let our hearts be lighter this time of year. So much rushing, stress, and not taking enough time to just enjoy the season and each other. And the shots of the WWII soldiers touches the heart.
Step Into Christmas by Elton John. Go Elton!!!
Off to get ready to decorate the tree. Photos forthcoming.
