RIP Peter Boyle 1935-2006

"Philadelphia-born actor Peter Boyle has died in a New York City hospital.
The 71-year-old actor died last night after a long battle with multiple myeloma and heart disease.
Boyle was born and raised in Philadelphia, and graduated from LaSalle College in 1957.
His father was Uncle Pete Boyle, who hosted a popular children's lunchtime cartoon show in Philadelphia in the 1950s titled "Lunch with Uncle Pete."
He later starred in "Young Frankenstein" and on TV in "Everbody Loves Raymond."

Just got home after a very long day... 12 hours at the store to hear this sad news. I really liked him. I don't really watch a lot of sitcoms, so Raymond passed me by for the most part. But I adored him in Young Frankenstein as well as his turn in The Dream Team opposite Michael Keaton among other films. And his work on the X-Files in Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose... that was one of my favorite episodes. Loved him . :(
