Halloween is coming on television in 30 minutes. I was afraid of Michael Myers before I'd ever seen the movie. Back in 1979-80 some babysitter was telling a friend about the beginning and I was convinced that he was hiding outside my bedroom window waiting to chop me up. I couldn't even be upstairs at night alone without crying.
