Farrah Fawcett died at 9:30 Pacific Time this morning in Santa Monica, CA.

I have always loved her as an actress. She'd gone well beyond being the sexy blonde on Charlie's Angels to being an actress who had some chops. The Burning Bed , Extremities, Small Sacrifices... as well as other wonderfully done dramatic, television, and other movie parts.

9 million tuned in to watch Farrah's Story, which chronicled her horrific 3 year battle with cancer. It was touching, and she showed such strength.

Rest in peace, angel.

I freely admit to hating her during the Charlie's Angels years, but definitely learned to respect her and then like her later on when she proved she had some real acting chops. Even if I hadn't, her cancer battle has been heartbreaking and brutal and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I hope she's found some peace now. What an awful thing. :-(
