Are you for real, Giuliana Rancic?

As seen on ONTD:

Infertility Has Nothing To Do With Weight
She compares herself with other thin women such as Gisele, Kelly Ripa, Victoria Beckham, Rachel Zoe. Giuliana, you can't compare yourself with other women. Each one of these women have different body types, different bodies. Gisele eats. She takes care of her body. Kelly was a good healthy weight when she had her children and is petite naturally. I don't know about Victoria Beckham or Rachel Zoe but there are people who are just naturally thin and stay that way. My Great Grandmother was one of them. Tiny, fine boned, always thin her whole life. Had three healthy pregnancies and children.
Giuliana is all like "Google it!" well I did, and what do you know, it says that being underweight can affect your ovulation therefore making it harder to conceive! Being overweight does, as well. So yes weight IS or CAN BE a factor in infertility! I don't know if she is ovulating normally, if she is then no, weight isn't a factor here. But she has said she has a wonky cycle so that tells me something.
To me making these comparisons is like someone saying well look at Keith Richards! He did tons of smack and he survived so I guess it must be alright to do! You know?
Anyway, there is healthy thin and unhealthy thin. There is just being that weight and size naturally and then there is forcing yourself to that weight by exercising like a fiend and not eating properly like Giuliana does. I've heard her say she eats very little. This woman got angry with her doctor when she *OMG GASP!* gained seven pounds at his advice and nothing happened right away. To me she could even stand to gain 10-20 and be fine. But the point is, if your doctor tells you that gaining x amount of weight will improve your chances of conceiving, and you really want a baby, you do it. And you try. It doesn't always happen immediately. But if you eat right, take care of your body and do as your doctor says, then well you might just get pregnant! It takes time and patience with some couples.
I'm just speculating because of course I don't know Bill or Giuliana, so I don't know their life, and habits. I am just going by what other people in my life have done and had success with. But if a doctor advises you to gain a little, then that tells me he believes it could all be tied into weight. I realize that she had a miscarriage after getting pregnant using IVF. And that's got to be heartbreaking and I do feel for her. But maybe just maybe it's your body giving you a message? I wish them the best if they really truly want a baby and hope that they can have the family they desire.
