So I just got home to find out that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are divorcing. I know I've had fun here in the past at their expense, especially during the time she was carrying and had Suri. But I'm not surprised. I'll admit I've always seen this coming for some reason.

Cue people calling him gay. I don't know where that's coming from either, and like it matters to the public at large anyway. It just seems that everyone wants every man in Hollywood to be gay for some reason. This actor? He's gay. That actor? Oh he's gay. If they have a wife and kids? A front / she's a beard. Good Lord, people shut up, it's old. Anyway, while in the past I've even jabbed at his Scientologist beliefs and had a snicker or two at his expense, I still think hes an excellent actor. I hope both of them find happiness and I wish them the best moving forward with their lives.

I think its about time she fled him. I've never cared for him and as for Scientology...well that's a cult as creepy as the one a certain presidential candidate is a member of.

Yeah, I hope she finds love and happiness, too. Just looking at these candids of her (http://ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/70063722.html?style=mine#comments) on ONTD from yesterday tells me she's on track already. She looks GOOD! Glowing, even. She's FREEEEE! LOL!

I find Scientology creepy and scary and mind-bogglingly ridiculous. I do wonder if Tom's involvement with the Co$ was a big part of Katie leaving.

While I don't think Tom is gay, I do think he must be exhausting to be around. He just seems so INTENSE. ALL THE TIME. You know what I mean? Maybe that makes him a good actor (and I do think he is pretty under-rated as an actor), but sheesh, I couldn't deal with that all the time.

I feel the same way about that. It's so ridiculous. I can only guess it comes from a place of wishful thinking? Like if someone is gay and admire a certain actor they want that actor to be gay so they can have a (miniscule) chance? IDK. I tire of it as well.

I hope that Katie gets her personality back. That was just...weird...how she seemed to have this shell shocked prisoner of war demeanor during the time when they were married.
