Yay! Catch up time! :D
October 21:
Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992)
Lush, sexy, with great performances.
October 22:
The Conjuring (2013)
A dark presence terrorizes a family in a secluded farmhouse. Great scares, well done.
October 23:
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1931)
My favorite movie adaptation of this classic by Robert Louis Stevenson. Also the first talking version of it made.
October 24:
Nosferatu (1922)
The silent classic and genesis of the vampire movie. Werner Herzog's 1979 version is also excellent. Well, what do you know, here's the full movie! Enjoy.
October 25:
The Wolf Man (1941)
This remains a classic in the Universal stable of Monster films. Great performance by Lon Chaney, Jr.
"Even a man who is pure of heart and says his prayers by night may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright."
October 26:
Suspiria (1977)
If you haven't yet dipped into Dario Argento's ouvre, I'd start here. Yes, there's gore.
