Writer's Block: Folktales of the City

I love Urban Legend and hearing new ones I might not have heard before. A couple of my favorite oldies but goodies though:
Bloody Mary
A group of my friends and I did this at a slumber party. I was never so freaking scared in my life. I'm not sure I'd want to try this again. But yeah, I'm a wuss. LOL! This concept was taken and made into a pretty effective and scary movie called "Candyman".
The Hook Man
I think every area has their version of this one. Where I was growing up, in Michigan City Indiana, it was a winding, tree lined road in Trail Creek.
Pop Rocks and Coke
He likes it! Hey, Mikey! Well, I can debunk this one, because I've done it several times as a kid and have lived to tell the tale.
Munchkin commits suicide on the set of Wizard of Oz
It actually turns out that it was a large bird, possibly an Emu or Ostrich that was ambling around loose on set.
Which leads me to my second favorite movie Urban Legend, the Three Men And A Baby ghost boy. I'm still not convinced it's a cardboard cut out of Ted Danson. *shakes head*
The Vanishing Hitchhiker
Another that I think has different tellings depending on the area you are from. We've all heard this one, I'm sure.
And along those lines, this video freaked me the HELL out. Is it real? OMG I don't know but yeah.
And oh man.... EL CHUPACABRA!!!!!
And one thing that always gave me the creeps just a lil' bit. 3am = The Devil's Hour. If you wake up right at 3 on the nose, you'll be possessed by Satan. Not that I thought any more of that than a story told to keep your kids from staying up late, but yeah. And then I HAVE awakened at that hour and ... well... I think I'm fine. Ha!
One last bonus one. Growing up so near the Chicago area (40 mins away) I always heard the story of Resurrection Mary. It's reminiscent of The Vanishing Hitchiker, so I guess they could kind of meld together that way anyway.
What are some of your favorites?
