I hope that you have been watching and enjoying Live 8. Everyone has been amazing! I loved REM, and the opening with Paul McCartney and U2? INCREDIBLE!! ♥ ♥

Madonna was amazing and the girl that came out... she was beautiful. I've been crying quite a few times during this. Green Day= amazing. Just. Wow. They're getting ready to wrap things up in London so be watching for Pink Floyd and everyone.

While I'm on this... please visit ONE.org and sign if you haven't. I have wrist bands if anyone wants one... not many I only bought one bag of them so first come first served. Let me know.

LONDON -- Pink Floyd will perform for the first time in more than 20 years for the London Live 8 concert.

The legendary British rock band will join Elton John, Madonna, Paul McCartney and Coldplay at the anti-poverty concert in Hyde Park on July 2.

Guitarist David Gilmour, bassist Roger Waters, drummer Nick Mason and keyboardist Richard Wright have not performed onstage together since 1981.

Gilmour said he wants to do everything he can to persuade the world's richest nations to help with the relief of poverty to the Third World.

"Any squabbles Roger and the band have had in the past are so petty in this context, and if re-forming for this concert will help focus attention then it's going to be worthwhile," Gilmour said.

Pink Floyd achieved phenomenal success with the 1973 album "Dark Side of the Moon." The band split after a falling-out in the 1980s.
